The volumes are biographical,critical and historical essays of the Tatler, Spectator and Guardian. Provenance: Armorial bookplate - Giles of Kailzie (James Giles Esq. 1841-1866 of Kailzie House, Scotland). Printed dates ranging from 1809-1814 by J. Seeley,Buckingham,For W. Suttaby,Stationers Court,London.
Condition notes: Very good condition with minute wear to spine edge on some, strong square spines, age-toned pages, browning on pages opposite frontispiece, some light foxing (see text page images), otherwise fine.
