Originally conceived as a vase, it has been transformed into a floor lamp, with a small hole at the bottom for the passage of the electric cable. The vase's black background is sumptuously decorated with Chinese floral motifs, adding a touch of elegance to the object. It is in excellent condition, although the stamp at the bottom of the vase is partially faded due to the addition of the hole. Founded in 1884 by Christoph Krautheim, the factory evolved over the years to become a prestigious supplier to the Royal Court of Bavaria, after starting afresh in 1912 as Krautheim & Adelberg. This lamp-adaptable vase symbolizes the history and craftsmanship of a bygone era.
