Whiting Company sterling silver compote in the Tiger Lily pattern. The large leaf pattern is impressed in the silver so that it is almost 3-D. The base stem and underside of the bowl are all impressively decorated. The compote is 6 3/8 inches tall, the bowl is 5 3/4 inches in diameter and the base is 3 inches in diameter. It looks like the base may have been reattached to the top, if this is the case, the silversmith who did it was very skilled. It is hard to see from the top. Otherwise, there are a few dents and creases but they are hard to notice. See less
