The generous molded top leads to three deep and wide … Read more A fabulous 18th century Gustavian serpentine chest of arc-en-arbelet form. The generous molded top leads to three deep and wide graduating each with moldings to the surrounds. Each smooth running drawer is complemented with escutcheons and sprung locks and still retaining the original key. The base has a shapely apron in fitting with the remainder of the chest and all finished on cabriole legs. Finished in a distressed white paint and with the original backing. A truly superb and wonderfully presented chest of drawers. Swedish, circa 1760. See less
