Charming Couroc Panda Bear Tray for Serving or Decor.
A wonderful estate sale find.
The Couroc Company was founded by Guthrie Courvoisier and his wife Moira Wallace, who was an artist, in 1948. They designed and made thousands of trays, bowls & accessories which were hand inlaid by master craftsmen using shells, coins, woods & metals. Each piece is one of a kind. Sadly, Couroc stopped production of these beautiful trays in 1998.
This charming tray does not appear to have any wood or brass inlays ~ I suspect it is a later production.
Measurements: 12.5" wide, 9.5" tall & .75" deep.
