Vintage early edition 2097/30 chandelier, designed by Gino Sarfatti. This lamp is a rare brassed (gold coloured) edition, although the brass has faded much due to it's age and it shows some patina in the manor of flash rust. Brassed early editions are rare to find. Early editions (1958-1970) can be recognized by the larger outside placed screws that are tighten the fittings in the rings. Newer editions have very small screws placed completely inside the rings. Designed in 1958, the 2097 suspension lamp by Gino Sarfatti is an iconic piece of design. It was manufactured by Arteluce and Flos. The metal structure is composed of several rays of different lengths, arranged around a large central cylinder. At the end of the spokes, black Bakelite sockets support a myriad of ground glass bulbs. Sarfatti made a bold aesthetic choice for the time: unlike traditional chandeliers, he decided to leave the electrical cables and bakelite sockets visible. The elegant metal structure is then crossed by cables that create an aesthetic tangle in the space. Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.
