They are beautifully hand painted in rich colors of Red, Blue, Green and Gilt Gold against a white glaze background & presented in a wonderfully artistic manner. The motif on both sides depicts scenes of bamboo trees throughout the gardens with robed scholar figures admiring bamboo scrolls. The top and base border trims have lovely intricate blue & white designs highlighted with red & gilt gold emblems in between. These magnificent rare shaped vases would make a great addition to any collection & or home. Marked on bottom of each vase.
