This commanding 34-inch monumental lamp exemplifies the sculptural "High-Tech" movement of the 1980s, merging industrial materials with elegant Italian geometry. The design features a pair of massive, curved glass visors with a frosted dimple texture, suspended by a brushed steel armature and anchored by a dramatic, arched ball-foot base. While unsigned, the sophisticated interplay of textured glass and architectural steel is highly evocative of the era’s masterworks by Fontana Arte, Fratelli Martini, or Ponti Tronconi. Great vintage condition showing only minor metal war commensurate with age - please see photos and video. Label residue on interior of one shade. Unmarked but Italian in language. Striking form and material usage of masters like Michael Graves and Frank. Tested and functional. Display ready piece.
