Designed by Jens Quistgaard in the early 1960s, this pair of elegant, yet tough cast iron candlestick holders are signed on the base, "Dansk Designs Denmark IHQ". The candlestick has four segments that screw together. Quistgaard’s avantgarde design epitomizes the mid-century modern Scandinavian design movement.
Jens Harald Quistgaard (1919-2008) was a sculptor and designer from Denmark and the lead designer for Dansk Designs starting in 1954.
