This pair of antique Chinese Ming cabinets are handcrafted in an elegant Ming style. All the frames of the cabinets are carved with one single plank of wood. Shelf and drawers. The two front doors are made with a wooden hinge (traditional artistry for furniture making in China) and can be removed. The cabinets are handcrafted and structured with wooden pegs and a tenon structure—traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Made from the core of Elmwood, the cabinet is very solid and kept in excellent condition. Circa early of 19th century. Original patina and hardware.
