This lovely painting is of a flat landscape with a gentle stream flowing between birch, oak and other trees. The banks are covered with a lush green grass. The Artist did a nice show of showing the reflection of the trees in the water. The Artist signed the painting in the bottom left corner.

The painting is in Very Good preloved condition. There are several spots where the paint has been chipped on the board. It was framed by Newman Galleries, 1625 Walnut Street, Philadelphia. The brown backing paper placed on when it was framed has been removed by a previous owner.

The painting has a combination of muted colors including browns, greens, blues, yellows, whites, and blacks.

This painting would enhance a library, study, bedroom, foyer, or office. It would enhance a traditional, rustic, farmhouse, country or Midcentury decor.
