This is a beautifully, carved … Read more Vintage c1970s; Gilded and carved standing Thespian or Young Tibetan Bhudda, with gilded removable staff. This is a beautifully, carved figurine, with gilded off the shoulder and draped wardrobe attire. There are some exquisite details within the wardrobe, as well as an alighted candle in one hand, while the other is holding a gilded staff. The base whereupon the figure stands upon, also has a carved out hole where the staff sits recessed within, so as not to move or lose it's positioning while in tact, as well as carved exposed feet, while the round base has carved, lotus floral details surrounding the base. The simplicity of the figural with all the other details, offsets a calm demeanor amongst a celebratory or heightened well-being, beyond the closed eyes and calm justified look, which one sees and is rested upon the face. A perfect accompaniment, or decorative presence for any interior capability. Sourced from a Palm Beach, Florida Estate.
