This table is a stunning … Read more Here we have a fabulous Mid Century Reverse Painted Glass Fontana Arte style coffee table. This table is a stunning work of art. I find no maker's mark, but it is very similar in style to tables painted by Dubé for Fontana Arte.

Glass top is painted with lively wave details surrounding gold leaf, shades of brown, white, aqua and a touch of crimson. The base consists of a wood slab supported by gorgeous carved gilt wood double dolphins or Koi fish. No chips or cracks to the glass. Very minor scuffs and scrapes to the wooden base, some oxidation of the finish on the intertwined carved fish. A very rare and beautiful coffee table.
