Neo-Expressionism has a justified place in the art pantheon and is currently experiencing a revival on both sides of the Atlantic. The human condition is laid out in this piece which is inspired by Sax’s Sand Art on the wild Atlantic coast beaches of England and it carries with it the immediacy of passing time and tide. Sax is currently to be found on the beach in all weathers making his sand art and is attracting inter-generational crowds to watch his creations and to discuss what is happening in the world. Sax has transferred these interactions onto canvas and created bold, beautiful art.
