We can most likely attribute this important drawing to the Italian master Carlo Carrà.
The beautiful and confident line, the post-futurist atmosphere and the great technical mastery directly refer to the great artist.
As we know, Carlo Carrà spent and trained artistically in Paris, which in these years, around 1920, was the world capital of art.
We owe this drawing to one of his Parisian stays; in fact, on the back you can read the title of the beautiful work "Promenade".
