The inside has a black hard plastic lining that is intact with no breaks or cracks. The base is signed - "Nissen Denmark.”
Richard Nissen started producing his own designs sometime in the mid-1960s, with a focus on domestic Danish distribution, and by 1979 was the biggest producer of handcrafted goods in Denmark. Availability in the US was much smaller than Dansk, limited mostly to home goods specialty stores and design retailers. See less
