This vase is made of thick handblown crystal glass with green and blue layers. The outside is structured like ice glass on the base.
The designer Göran Wärff was working at Kosta Boda from 1964-2022. He was the king of crystal and a legend who was part of shaping the Swedish glass traditon for more than 60 years.
Over the years Göran has done some very varied design work. He’s done public assignments for the Opera House in Sydney, the mosque in Abu-Dhabi, the cathedral in Växjö and the IMO United Nations' building in London. He’s won several awards and scholarships for his design. This piece has an attribution mark,
