A magnificent rare original gold-leafed offset lithograph "The Prince Sayyid Niyaz Khan on the Terrace of a Palace" after 17th century Indian painting. In the lower part of the composition one reads in the print, in small letter signature or attribution, orai Bitchitr". Comes from a rare first limited edition art folio published by Les Editions du Chene in Paris, France in 1950. Printed on one side. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper. Numbered "IV" at the lower right corner of the board. Gold-leafed and very detailed. Superb quality, rich colors, excellent condition - very minor edge wear on the board, never framed.
