A magnificent gold-leafed offset lithograph, print, of "Princess Seated Upon The Terrace of a Palace" after 17th century Indian painting. The princess holds between her fingers a mauve tulip. In the fore-ground an ornamental basin flanked by two palm trees.
Comes from a first limited and only edition art folio published by Les Editions du Chene in Paris, France in 1950. Printed on one side. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper. Numbered "V" at the lower right corner of the board. Gold-leafed and very detailed. Superb quality, rich colors. Excellent condition - minor age wear on edges of the board, never framed.
Image 6.45"W x 10.55"H - slightly bigger than the original artwork.
