Paul Klee ( 1879 - 1940 ) the Swiss born artist is attributed to creating some of the most original and colorful paintings of The 20th Century. His highly individual style was influenced by the movements of Expressionism, Cubism, and surrealism, as well as the simplicity of the Bauhaus designs. he and his colleague Wassily Kandinsky both important color theorists were educators at the famous Bauhaus school in Germany. Artworks by Klee are in included in the collections of many of the worlds most prestigious museums.

The vintage lithograph print was printed in Japan in 1967, it features an original artwork created by Klee in 1933 titled " Fire at Full Moon ". The lithograph print is a page from an authentic vintage artists publication. The lithograph print plate is attached to the page with a method called " tipping " where it is attached by hand on 3 corners. This print is suitable for framing.

The print measures 8 3/4" W X 6 3/4" H, on a page that is 9" W X 12 1/2" H. There is unrelated text on the reverse back side of the page that refers to a different artwork image. It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling. It has never been framed. Please see photos for condition reference.
