The color lithograph print is printed in Yugoslavia in 1970, it features an original artwork created by Modigliani in 1919 titled " Portrait of Lunia Czechowska ".

Amedeo Modigliani ( 1884 - 1920 ) was an Italian born painter and sculptor of a Sephardic jewish background. Known for his portraits and nudes in a Modern style characterized by elongation of faces and figures. The outstanding and unclassifiable artworks are widely considered to be some of the most important early Modern artworks ever created.

The rare out of print lithograph print is a page from an authentic vintage artists publication. The lithograph print plate is attached to the page with a method called " tipping " where it is attached by hand to the page on 3 corners. There is unrelated text on the reverse back side of the page that refers to a different artwork image. This print is suitable for framing.

The lithograph print plate measures 7" W X 10" H, on a page that is 9" W X 12 1/4" H. It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling. It has never been framed.
