This is a beautiful set of six bowls and various servings pieces. It's ceramic with a calligraphy design. These pieces are beautiful and in good condition. No chips or damage. I believe it could be for serving sushi; The large plate for the sushi, bowls and pitchers for soy sauce. But I don't know for sure. I was also told it could be serving tofu, but can't confirm.
