This vintage limited edition hand colored etching by listed French artist Edouard Chimot (France 1880-1959) is one of several we will be listing depicting scenes from the "Roaring Twenties" and the "Flapper" era. The edition was limited to 300 copies. The image is masterfully drawn and composed with a hauntingly beautiful palette. The plates were etched by Leblanc et Trautmann under the supervision of Louis Maccard in Paris, France. Dimensions; Apprx. 8.5" x 10.5".
Édouard Chimot (1880-1959) was a French artist, illustrator and editor who worked primarily in Paris. He is best known for his etchings and engravings, especially attractive women. Please view our other Chimot etchings as well as our soon to be listed engravings by Mariette Lydis.
