Signed upper right, "Anthony McNaught", (American, 1952-2026), titled and dated verso, 2014.
A lyrical, cabinet-size abstract comprising complex striated and overlapping pastel elements of aqua, violet, saffron and jade applied with painterly brushwork.
This California Post-Impressionist and Abstract Expressionist artist studied at the Esalen Institute with Erin Gafill and Tom Birmingham and, later, at the Santa Cruz Art League. Ant McNaught lived, painted and made music in Santa Cruz, California.
