Rare early 20th Century Large French embossed hand-forged brass doorbell / knocker with brass bell and pull cord chain. It is wall mounted and can serve as a door /shop bell, door knocker, dinner or monastery /church bell.
A great brass door bell with chain and "Shakespearean" figure decoration with engraving in latin "leo seti canus," which translates to "time to set age."
