A fine antique Chinese export porcelain tea caddy.
Made for the European market.
Likely Qianlong period.
With puce painted cartouches depicting a galant couple (and a third figure that is possibly a shepherd) in a garden or ruins setting.
Having a tapered body supported by a flared foot with applied scrollwork details.
(Lacks its original lid).
Simply a wonderful piece of Chinese porcelain!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Condition Details:
There are some open bubbles in the glaze (and to the rim) from the firing, rubbing to most of the gold, and some wear to the decoration. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
