Pauline Bonaparte (1780-1825) was the second sister of Napoleon I and the first sovereign Duchess of Guastalla in Italy. She was an imperial French princess and the princess and consort of Sulmona and Rossano. She married Charles Leclerc, a French general. She later married Camillo Borghese, the sixth prince of Sulmona. She was the only Bonaparte sibling to visit Napoleon in exile on his principality.

-This is a beautiful reproduction of "The Beautiful Greek" portrait of Pauline Bonaparte by Salomon-Guillaume Cousins.
-Signed N.Gardelli in lower right corner
-Portrait surrounded by metal frame
-There is a small ring at the top of portrait frame for wall hanging
-Pauline wears a lovely off-the-shoulder orange dress draped with blue fabric.
-Portrait backed with paper-the item is antique so some of the portrait is coming through. There are metal backings to keep it in place.
-A similar portrait can be found in the National Trust Collections in the U.K.
