An original antique Chinese artifact
A stunning hand carved stele featuring three figures, Shakyamuni Buddha and two Bodhisattvas, disciples on the path towards Bodhi or Buddhahood
The image is painted in pink, red, black and white natural pigments
It comes with a custom made wooden stand for display, which was carved to fit this particular stone. A sticker from a private collection remains
Measurements: Approximately the stone only 12" x 12" x 2.25", on the stand it is overall 15" tall x 14" wide x 4.5" deep at the base
It weighs 22 lbs. the stone only, 25 lbs. together with the stand
Condition: Very Good overall. Please see photos. Exceptional deep patination and accretions developed over centuries. All original.
