Italian Fontana Arte Attributed Glass And Bronze Floor Lamp.
This stunning Italian modern Max Ingrand For Fontana Arte attributed glass and brass floor lamp is executed of two thick pieces of glass with bronze between them on a thick round glass base.
Our lovely mid century modern glass floor lamp has been newly wired for U.S use.
This floor lamp is unsigned however it has been documented in publications on this designer and maker.

Max Ingrand, a famous French master glass worker and decorator, he was artistic director of Fontana Arte for one decade, starting from 1954. During that time, he came up with true design classics, such as the Fontana table lamp, still one of the best selling products for the company that bears its name. Having studied at the school of Fine Arts in Paris, he specialised in the decorative Arts, under the guidance of major artists such as Jacques Grüber and Charles Lemaresquier. He produced a great number of stained glass panels for religious buildings, hotels and public places, and was awarded the French Legion of Honour.
