This is a set of 2 small white Hen on Nest made by Hazel Atlas. This includes 2 nesting dishes, with a basket weave design, and 2 hen lids. They are stamped on the bottom of the dishes.
When investigating the history, I found that these might be (?) Platonite. Platonite glass resembles milk glass, but is more reflective and awesomely shimmers the light. Hazel Atlas began using Platonite in 1936.
These would be awesome decorations for a baby shower…as they are petite, unique and festive. White milk glass is a favorite for Mother’s Day, Weddings and Baby/Wedding Showers!
