A 19th-century wooden grain shovel salvaged from an old farmhouse in Talent, Oregon. We love its rustic, handmade nature and the marks of frequent use - so much that the handle wore away! These shovels are most often attributed to the Shakers, and called 'scoops'.
This utilitarian, primitive piece of Americana lends an element of farmhouse folk style mounted on a wall or leaned against a fireplace.
