This is a … Read more A gorgeous vintage art chamotte ceramic vase from the 1950s, design by the talented Helge Österberg, Denmark. This is a fantastic studio produced vase, simple both in shape and glazing yet still amazing at the same time. Österberg 'was one of Denmark's leading artists and designer, famous for his bold design and the quality of his work is always very high and his art has become very sought after and collectable. The shape is teardrop, with a beautiful dark brown base in chamotte style, with flamed like white glazing on the front and back. This item is very much of its time, but due to the simplicity it still has a contemporary feeling and will add to any interior setting.

It is 11.5 cm (4.52") high and around 9cm (3.54") wide and 8cm (3.14") deep and in a very good condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
