According to references in the Baccarat catalog of 1916, this glassware is in the Louis XVI style, similar to models 11582 and 7776 in mousseline crystal. This set consists of two water decanting jugs, five water glasses, eight red wine glasses, eight champagne glasses, ten port glasses and ten liqueur glasses. All pieces are made by hand in blown glass and are decorated with plant garlands and bows. The jugs have a gold top rim and handle, just as all the glasses have a gold trim on both the top and the base. All engraved and gilded decorations have been fire gilded.
Two of the liquor glasses still have the Baccarat label on their base.
Great opportunity to acquire a truly unique and numerous set.
