A rare Regency Campaign Chest with Desk, and six drawers for storage. Marked, Liverpool, 1811, on Metal Label.
The Mahogany wood is Beautifully Figured and the entire piece is banded in beautifully patinated brass. Seven drawers are accompanied with brass fleur corners. On top middle the drawer pulls out to reveal a mini or fold open whole desk in tooled gold and green leather. A small drawer above the desk is for writing implements and the desk opens to reveal additional storage for papers, important documents or Journals.
One of our more stunning pieces, a real jewel.
