Classic hand painted blue sponge design on a creamy white glazed pot with a black rim and finished with a coat of high gloss, by Stangl (1814 - 1978). This pattern, Town & Country Blue, was produced 1974 - 1978.
Stangl Pottery was founded in Flemington, NJ in 1814 and is known for its hand painted pottery pieces consisting of dinnerware, kitchen accessories, home decor and its extensive line of bird figurines produced from 1940s - 1970s.
