In contemporary early 20th century faux marble leather paper over hardcovers, gilt title and leather spine label, numerous tables/fold-out illustrations throughout, missing (2) plates [Baccio Baldini's depictions "The hell of the Camposanto of Pisa", and that of St. Girolamo penitent (photocopies folded in rear of vol. 2)], else complete. This very rare 2nd edition contains a greater number of tables, than the first edition published in Pisa in 1787-1793. The other tables are by Fambrini, Canacci and Morrona, a total of 31 (of 33) also several times folded. and so distributed: 8 in I vol. including the antip. depicts the portrait of Da Morrona, 15 (of 17) in II and 8 in III.
