It has a pedestal foot, applied handles, a lid, lusterware, and hand-painted highlights. This pattern was called the "Chinese" pattern and was used by many manufacturers in the 19th century, so it is easy to mix and match pieces. You can see the photo of the dish on top of a platter that is being sold separately by Gildea & Walker. The dish is marked with "Ashworth" and the number "40" on the bottom. See less
