The handmade enamel designs are skillfully executed but retain the charm of original artwork which never appears to be as perfectly symmetrical as machine-produced products. It still appears new and has no chips, cracks, or scratches. It is ideal as a centerpiece and may be used for wrapped chocolates or wrapped after-dinner mints. The plate is decorated with matching designs and artwork. It is made in China and shipped to chain stores that carry fine furniture and art decor. This plate was purchased at the Bombay Company. The enamel surface is not flat but three-dimensional. The rim is gilded. The background colors of the two alternating sections are navy blue and burgundy. See less
