Late 20th c. Chinese Garden Stool/Seat, Chinoiserie Rose Medallion, Navy Blue Multi & Gold Details 18.5" High
A very unusual color of this great late 20th c. Chinese Import. An enameled chinoiserie ceramic drum table, Garden Stool or Seat with raised relief dots about. Decorated with lots of details, gold cartouches with Birds of Paradise and Butterflies and deep pink flowers, other Cartouches filled with the typical Rose Medallion figures.
The base is stamped with the Red Figure Mark with an inscription which means 'Supervised & Produced in the House of Leisure". You Xian Ju Jianzhi.
Due to the size and weight, this item is only available for LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY.
Size: 18.5" High, 12" Top Diameter, Middle Width approx. 13.5". Very heavy weighing 25 lbs.
Condition: Displays normal wear consistent with age. Slight wear of opening edge on top (see last photo)
