This beautiful art deco Solbjerg vase with sea motif was designed by Nils Thorsson for Aluminia / Royal Copenhagen, Denmark 1930s. Aluminia later became a part of Royal Copenhagen, Denmark. This vase belongs to the "Solbjerg" series by Nils Thorsson and has a rare motif depicting flounders and scallops in relief. The vase is wide and stands elegantly on a fluted centered foot. Signed on the bottom with Aluminia Denmark logo, and "Denmark" This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
