The set is … Read more An elegant antique French Old Paris porcelain teapot and tea warmer stand from the late 19th Century. The set is manufactured of white glazed porcelain and features a classic French design. The French teapot and warmer are known as Veilleuse (night lights) or Tisaniere (herbal tea makers) and were used at night in a lady's boudoir to keep a pot of herbal tea nice and hot.

A small tea light candle is placed into the bottom section of the warmer stand and it gently maintains the heat of the tea in the pot.
