Made in the South of France during the late 18th century, this exquisite trumeau mirror is hand-carved with musical instruments in its upper section. Surrounded by delicate beads and petite twisted ribbons, these motifs stand out beautifully on the soft colored painted background. The lower section presents the mirror plate showing some nice signs of aging. With its slender proportions and skilfully executed décor, this wonderfully aged French 18th century Louis XVI period trumeau mirror will enliven any room beautifully. See less
