Pair of baluster-shaped porcelain vases produced by valentine manufactory (1832-1878) in saint-gaudens, france. They are decorated on one side with multicolored rural motives in medallions highlighted with gold scrolls and arabesques. Each vase has two short, foliated handles. Light wear to the gilding. A vase with slight chip. Circa 1850 dimensions: w 5.5 in, d 4.9in, h 8.7in. Dimensions: l 14cm, p 12.5cm, h 22cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
