A fine example of late 19th Century of sporting art with this noteworthy French bronze of a hunting dog in the style of PJ Mene. This bronze sculpture quietly captures the essence of a standing hunting dog with subtle realism, standing on a naturalistic base.
Executed in the style of Pierre-Jules Mêne, the renowned French sculptor and animalier, this piece is reflective to the artist's talent and attention to detail. Although unsigned, this work stands on its own.
The bronze canine sculpture measures 12 inches wide, 4 inches deep, and 6 inches high. It is accompanied by a separate earth-tone variegated oval agate base, enhancing the presentation. The agate base alone measures 11.5 inches wide, 4.75 inches deep, and 1 inch high.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
