Lovely, oval shaped silver flask with embossed flowers and cartouches in very good antique condition. Stamped hallmarks, on both the flask and lid, identify it as made by (HA) Atkin Brothers Silversmiths of (crown) .925 sterling silver, (lion) in Sheffield in (Z) 1892. Used to store and carry your fine tea leaves.
The lid does not have any blemishes and fits snugly. There are no cracks or splits in the silver.
The top edge of the caddy on the narrow side of oval has a dent approx 1/2”wide as shown in close-up photos. There is also a small crease on the wider top edge, as shown in the photos. Some small dings from normal use should be expected. Please consult all photos for exact condition.
Caddy is 2 3/8”l x 1 3/4”w x 3”h. It weighs 2.3oz or 65grams.
