From Robert W. Irwin Furniture Company, a fine antique Louis XVI style Twin bed frame in great vintage condition. Features traditional Louis XVI carving and the type of painted finish that the Irwin Company was known for. The frame is strong and the cane is intact.
This is an exquisite antique French Louis XVI Neoclassical bed frame by Robert W. Irwin Furniture Company, circa 1928. Crafted from satinwood featuring turned and fluted columns, artichoke finials, fluted head and footboard, and turned tapered feet. The headboard has inset cane, which is perfectly intact. It is a grayish tan with original blue accents, finished with French Provincial speckling, ready to enjoy now or repaint in your color choice.
It has excellent joinery and craftsmanship with age-appropriate wear. Naturally aged patina with very few distressed areas. The original side rails are included and have steel L-brackets to hold a foundation. This is straight from a fine estate in Rumson, New Jersey.
