The specimen is of a black Lingbi type stone in an arch form mimicking a horizontal mountain range. The wrinkles and folds on the black surface were perfectly weathered by elements for millenniums. Smooth and rugged at the same time, the mountain range shows a poetic formation that was often depicted in the ink scroll and conveys a timeless beauty. There are natural scattered white and brown spots embedded in the stone, making it visually interesting to meditate upon. It reveals different views from front and back as well as different angles.
