The original one of a kind oil painting on canvas is created by the Canadian born artist Charles Chapin. It features a beautiful Mid Century Modernist style still life study in a gorgeous striking color palette. The original vintage painting is signed by the artist in the lower right canvas front.

Charles Chapin was born in Montreal, Canada in 1930. He first studied architecture, but soon preferred painting. He spent several years studying in Chicago and later in Paris. Mr. Chapin is noted for his clever and imaginative use of contrasting color, line, and composition. Artworks by Chapin have been exhibited in Canada, The United States, and Paris.

The vintage Mid Century Modernist framed one of a kind original signed oil painting measures 17 3/4" W X 13 3/4" h X 3/4" D. It is custom framed in a Modern matte satin finish black wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

The painting is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and use. There is some light signs of handling and light surface wear from age in the upper right side area. it is brand newly custom framed and has never been displayed.
