The 18th century French frame is of gold and silver leaf, and restored to bring it to its former glory. The painting inside is of the 21st century and signed by the artist; having stunning abstract form paired with a classic ornament frame. Antique with the Modern, coexisting together. Giving us a complimented contrast that draws our attention, but is easy on the eyes. The 18th century had a particular attachment to richly carved and gilded frames; as they were a status symbol of wealth and luxury.
