The basket is equipped with a rope handle attached by leather tabs and metal rivets. The handle of a rope measuring a 3” loop. The top is reinforced with bent wooden splints, folded over the rim and incorporated into the wicker split wood body.

Decorative, graphic weave pattern adds textural variation to almost monochromatic piece. The convenient size, shape, and construction allow the basket to be used both as a decor piece and as decorative storage. it can also be used as an ikebana vase or a cachepot with an insert.
